PCEP Bands

Welcome

The Plymouth-Canton Educational Park is located in Canton, Michigan and serves the communities of Plymouth, Canton, and Salem, Michigan.

Our band curriculum is comprised of Varsity, Concert, Symphony, and Wind Ensemble bands. We also offer Percussion Ensemble and directed studies classes.

Extracurricular activities are an integral part of our program and consists of Marching Band, Winterguard, Jazz Band, Pep band, and a multitude of chamber ensembles.

We would be pleased to post information from all area private middle schools whose graduates may attend PCCS high schools.

Please send the webmaster your info. Also stay in touch in early spring and help us keep your 8th graders informed of audition schedules, etc.

Our Philosophy
Music is merely a by-product of all that it is that makes up band. Be it in the auditorium, in rehearsal, a judged performance, the sounds we experience in concert are the fruits of a much greater life molding experience. Band is patience. Band is practice, concentration, expression. Band needs discipline, harmony not only in what you hear but in what you do. Band gives confidence. Band gives joy.

When high school is a distant memory; When you can't remember a thing you performed; we hope your life is somehow enriched by the things you took with you from band.

Goals
To instill an awareness of music's important role in the enrichment of the human spirit, and to instill traits of discipline, concentration, team work, and self motivation skills to help our students in the rest of their lives.

PCMB would like to congratulate the Broken Arrow High School Marching Band for becoming this years BOA Grand National Champions; and all of the bands who participated in the National Championships this November. Go bands!
